How To Order Transplant Genomics Tests

Eurofins Transplant Genomics distributes TruGraf® Kidney, TRAC Kidney, and OmniGraf Liver test sample collection kits to transplant centers and specialists’ practices, or upon physicians’ orders mails the sample collection kit directly to the patient’s home for use in a commercial blood draw laboratory. Kits may also be drawn by our qualified phlebotomists at the patient’s home through the Labs@HOME mobile phlebotomy service.

Complete the Transplant Genomics Test Requisition

There are multiple options to obtain test requisitions. Clinicians can order:

  • A single test;
  • A multiple kit bulk order for laboratory automation;
  • Standing orders for up to 24 months.

Transplant Genomics offers several options for convenient test requisition:

Paper Requisition:

Clinicians can order Transplant Genomics tests by downloading and completing an editable Test Requisition Form.

Phone:

Online:

Transplant Genomics tests can be ordered and results accessed through Retriever, our online portal. A Transplant Genomics Regional Transplant Manager can arrange access to Retriever.

Interface:

Transplant Genomics’ tests can be interfaced through a bi-directional HL7 interface with clinicians’ EMR system. A Transplant Genomics Regional Transplant Manager can arrange the development of a custom HL7 interface.

Take a Blood Sample

The sample collection kit will typically arrive in [add average shipping time for the kit]; it contains the proper tube and shipping supplies to stabilize the sample and prevent RNA degradation prior to analysis. When presenting the sample collection kit and completed Test Requisition Form (TRF), the phlebotomist will draw the patient’s blood according to the relevant phlebotomy instructions. 

Mail the Sample to Transplant Genomics for Genomic Testing

After the sample is drawn, the lab mails the completed test requisition and sample collection kit to our CLIA lab for processing.

Receive Results of Test/Tests

The sample collection kit and complete test requisition form are received by our CLIA-certified laboratory to undergo analysis. Results are returned to the designated clinician within the specified timeframe following receipt of sample.[add: usually within X-Y days/weeks]
